The Tralee Local Employment Service (LES) was established in 1999. The TLES is core funded by FÁS and is under the management of North & East Kerry Development. It is seen as a crucial element of the dual-stranded National Employment Service with FAS, and is constantly improving the synergies between the two agencies.
The LES offers a career path planning and placement service for long-term unemployed people. The service is confidential and voluntary and all job seekers who register with the service are assigned an individual “Mediator”, who will help them to avail of a wide range of supports which will help the individual job seeker to get the job that they want.
